Big news this summer—our nonprofit company SkateAC has officially broken ground on a brand-new community skatepark in Uptown Atlantic City. If you’re new here, let us introduce you to what we’re building together.
SkateAC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit skateboarding organization founded in 2013 with one mission: to build safe, legal skateparks and empower youth through skateboarding. Based in Atlantic City, SkateAC has been leading the charge to provide positive alternatives for kids growing up in a city that too often lacks access to safe recreational spaces.
This latest project marks their second public skatepark in Atlantic City, and it’s already making waves. Located at Uptown Park near the city’s north end, this new park is backed by $70,000 in funding from the City of Atlantic City—a huge step forward for youth development, urban renewal, and local skate culture.
At ClearlyFaded, we’re proud to stand behind this work. Every time you support our conscious cannabis and clothing brand, you’re also fueling something much bigger: a grassroots movement to heal communities through skateboarding, art, and mentorship.
This new skatepark won’t just feature ramps and rails—it will provide a safe space for local kids to express themselves, build confidence, and stay connected to a culture that changes lives. That’s what this is all about. And we’re just getting started.
Why This Matters:
- Atlantic City is long overdue for accessible, safe outdoor recreation spaces
- Skateboarding provides physical, emotional, and social benefits for youth
- This skatepark project directly combats negative stereotypes about Atlantic City by showcasing growth, art, and community resilience
